Pre-workshop

There will be a pre-workshop session on Saturday, April 14th for people who are not familiar with R. We strongly recommend that you attend if you have never used R before, or would like a refresher in the basic functions.

Venue: B-125 Wells Hall
Time: 1:30pm – 4:30pm

Registrants will be contacted in March with an opportunity to enroll in the pre-workshop.

The pre-workshop will include a presentation on the following topics:

1. Basic working with R and R-studio.
2. Opening and manipulating data files.
3. Basic data analysis commands (using the “tidyverse” packages).
4. Conducting basic statistical tests in R will be discussed very briefly, if there is time. However, this pre-workshop is not the appropriate venue to learn about statistics, in general.
